Rate/Delivery Details

Basic Rates

Please refer to the following for rates for TooBen Creative Writing Based on Translation:
  • English to Japanese: Minimum JPY 30 per word
  • Japanese to English: Minimum JPY 15 per character
  1. The rate comprises a value obtained by multiplying the unit price for each word (English → Japanese) or each character (Japanse → English) by the number of words or characters in the file. Please note that the above rates may vary depending on the nature or size of the project, delivery schedule, or specific requirements. Contact me for details.
  2. Even though the pricing uses the word or character count, it does not mean creative writing based on the translation is done for each word or character, but instead for the entire document.
  3. The word/character count of your document uses the MS Word count function. Therefore, it may include non-source language words/characters (e.g., English words among Japanese characters). However, they are NOT deducted from the count (and the charge) since they form part of the entire document. As mentioned in 2., they, too, are the target of writing/translation.
